Who Knew?

Yesterday while wasting valuable time on Facebook, I took the World's Smallest Political Quiz. And according to this quiz, I'm a Libertarian!

According to your answers, the politicalgroup that agrees with you most is...
LIBERTARIAN

Libertarians support maximum liberty in both personal and economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence. Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties. The red dot on the chart shows where you fit on the political map. Your personal issues score is 60%. Your economic issues score is 90%.

What are you? Find out here and let me know!

Em-

Hello! I have long thought that I am more libertarian-leaning myslef. And watching HBO's series on Jon adams has made me even more of that conviction. Watch it- you would love it! but just this morning I was praying for our country, because it's kinda sad just how far we have fallen in terms of personal liberties and little government involvement...

Excellent quiz. I am a right winged conservative. I "favor economic freedom, but frequently
support laws to restrict personal behavior that violates "traditional
values." My economic score was 100 and my personal score was 40. Very interesting. I guess this means I'm going to have to suck up my conservative beliefs and vote for McCain :(

Looks like I'm a libertarian too :) Good luck on all the unpacking! How are you managing that with both boys?

RYCs: Maryanne - we've watched that John Adams series and Ryan has read the book. WE LOVED IT!! Glad you did too.

Libs - tell Colin to give up being a Dem and become a Libertarian with us!

I'm "conservative," but I thought the questions for the "personal" section were poorly worded. Like, the national id card question--ID cards for controlling immigration or generally monitoring the whereabouts of the public? I answered "maybe" to most of those questions.
